Entrepreneurial Management is a course which provides a comprehensive and practical analysis of the responsibilities of the entrepreneurial team leading an entrepreneurial venture. It begins by recognizing that there are three ways to launch an entrepreneurial venture; one can buy an existing business or one can purchase a franchise; as alternatives to beginning the venture from scratch.  This course explores the factors and issues involved in the three methods and helps students to see how a decision is made as to the most beneficial approach for a given venture.  The course continues with concepts and processes involved in guiding an entrepreneurial venture through the growth period.  Venture growth involves articulating, integrating and achieving economic success and growth through leadership and management skills.
