I'm delighted to inform you that Anaheim University is now an accredited university.
On January 17th, 2009, Anaheim University gained national accreditation from the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC), based in Washington, D.C. The Accrediting Commission of the DETC is a recognized member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), which is itself recognized by the U.S. Dept. of Education.
The award of accreditation is made only after an extensive review of an institution's mission and objectives; student services; qualifications o administrators, faculty and staff; educational program objectives, curricula and materials; admission practices, and financial responsibility. All these
areas of Anaheim University were found to meet or exceed the DETC's highest standards of excellence.
Details of our accreditation can be found on our website at

My staff and I have worked diligently to achieve accreditation, and we recognize that you, our students and graduates, have worked diligently also towards the same goal. We could not have achieved accreditation without your commitment and dedication to your studies and your support of our institution. I, therefore, express my sincere appreciation to you, and I hope you can be as proud of Anaheim University as we are of you.
If you have any questions or comments regarding our accreditation, please do not hesitate to contact me at whartley@anaheim.edu or my staff at

Sincerely,
William B. Hartley, Ph.D.
