TIRF -- The International Foundation for English Language Education -- has published a study of the role of English and plurilingualism in business and industry.
The findings show that language proficiency directly facilitates knowledge transfer and business performance. As a result, employers, especially in multinational corporations, highly value multilingual communication skills.
