About Mr. Steven Birdsall, MBA
SAP COO Steven Birdsall speaks to MBA students for Anaheim University Seminar SeriesSteven Birdsall was appointed COO of SAP Japan on 1 June 2007. SAP Japan is a subsidiary of SAP AG, the world's largest business software company. SAP has a rich history of innovation and growth that has made it the recognized leader in providing collaborative business solutions for all types of industries in every major market, one of which being Japan. SAP Japan is part of the Americas Asia Pacific & Japan region. Birdsall joined SAP Japan in July 2006, serving as vice president of Strategy & Sales Execution. In early 2007, he was promoted to an Asia Pacific Japan position serving as SVP Industry Solutions, Strategy, and Operations, reporting to the CEO of APJ. Birdsall was a member of the APJ Senior Executive Team, and focused on building the 2010 strategy and execution plans for all regional subsidiaries.

Before Joining SAP Japan, Birdsall worked for Adobe Systems from 2004 - 2006. Based at the headquarter offices in San Jose, California, he led Worldwide Operations focusing on building the enterprise business, strategic business planning, and business process reengineering of the Channel business. He was also responsible for leading the pre and post merger integration / acquisition of Macromedia, a $3.5Bn purchase by Adobe announced in April 2005.

Before Adobe, Birdsall served as director of US Field Operations at SAP America from 2001 to 2004, focusing on sales productivity, operational efficiencies, quotas, compensation, and territory management.
Birdsall holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from University of Utah ('93), Salt Lake City, Utah; and an MBA from Brigham Young University ('98), Provo, Utah.

Mr. Uzawa is currently the Adhesion Industry Business Supply & Logistics Manager at ExxonMobil Chemical. Yoshihiko will be giving a short presentation on Energy Demand Outlook and Biofuel Issues.

About Mr. Terrie Lloyd

LINC Media CEO Terrie Lloyd speaks to Anaheim University MBA students at CEO Seminar SeriesTerrie Lloyd serves as a CEO and President of LINC Media, Inc. with approximately 70 staff, headquartered in Tokyo. He also runs a publishing and consulting firm called Japan Inc. Holdings, with approximately 50 staff, also headquartered in Tokyo. Japan Inc. is the publisher of the Japan Inc. magazine, Japan's only English-language business quarterly; Metropolis magazine, the only ABC audited English magazine in Japan, and the www.japaninc.com website. Lloyd's companies specialize in advising and assisting foreign companies with sales/marketing and IT infrastructure in Japan, and the overseas market development for Japanese technology firms.

Terrie Lloyd is a 49-year dual-national of Australia and New Zealand, who has lived in Japan for 24 years. He formed his first company on a working holiday visa at the age of 25, in Japan, and has established more than 12 companies since then. He has had 4 successful earn-outs: LINC Computer sold to EDS in 1995, Web division sold to Chinadotcom in 2000, Layer-8 Technologies spun out to ThetaMusic in 2003, and DaiJob Inc. sold to Human Holdings in 2005.

Lloyd does a significant amount of public speaking for the US, Irish, Australian, and New Zealand governments and related industry bodies. As a long-time participant in the Japanese computer industry, he has been quoted by TIME, the Economist, Forbes, the Daily Telegraph (UK), US Public Radio, Bloomberg TV, Japan Times, Wired Online, and many other leading news sources. Lloyd is also active in the ACCJ (American Chamber of Commerce in Japan) on the Board of Governors and in the Business and Financial Affairs internal subcommittee, the ANZCCJ (Australia New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Japan) as an executive board member, JMEC (Japan Market Entry Competition), and many other trade related organizations in Japan.

Interview Sensei / Eigotown.com Educational Consultant John Lowe
John Lowe is an Educational Consultant for Interview Sensei and eigoTown.com Ltd. He has worked as the Director of ELT for International Thomson Publishing Asia and has taught in Switzerland, Libya, Bulgaria, and Japan. Immediately before joining ITP Asia, he was Director of International Centers in Tokyo, and an English Language examiner for the United Nations. He graduated from the University of Kent at Canterbury with A BA Honours degree in English and Classical Literature.
